We had the pleasure of hosting Weiqin Chen, Professor in the Department of Physiology, Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University at the Metabolic Research Conference at Harold Hamm Diabetes Center and Department of Biochemistry and Physiology at OUHealth. She gave a great talk on the role of interaction of BSCL2/Seipin and ATGL in regulation of adipose tissue development, and the role of Neddylation in liver diseases. Weiqin was the very first Graduate Students trained in Busik lab, nothing like following your trainee becoming very successful independent investigator! Thank you Weiqin for engaging with our faculty and generously sharing your ideas.
